Things r changing pretty badly for India. In the event of WW3,

1. China will side with Russia as Russia is against US. 
2. Since Pak is favored by China, Russia & China will support Pak in war against India
3. Even though we were good friends with Russia in the Past. Past is Past  Russia will no longer support us in case of WW3. As India will not give any leverage to Russia in War.
4. We can only get support from U.S. But u always know U.S. always hate India & Indians  So unless they have any advantage, they will not come to rescue India.
5. Now all of a sudden Srilanka started becoming one more Pain in the a.. to India
6. And ofcourse there is Bangladesh 

In this situation, India has no other option but siding with U.S
