Not agreed. As per ac21 transfer applicant can work until the application is pending with usci s  ie more than 240 days.. there are no rules saying transfer applicant cannot work beyond 240 days ani.

IF u apply new h1 (transfer) before i94 expiry date. I dont think the stay is illegal even though h1 denied. since u have pending application.  check with lawyer on this.

I94 expire ithe out of status. If u stay more days ur stay is illegal without any pending application with usc is. FT tesesinna they wont revoke h1 immediately every client have diff policies.. 

suppose the day proj ends and same day client withdraw h1 then in trouble. New employr tho lca cheyyatanike 2 weeks time kavali..

No grace period. Since i94 didnot expired you can apply for transfer . 

 

This year new rule with 60 grace is for finding job not to stay here

Fyi for the people worried about 240 days rule.

same employr extension filed? Stop working after 240 days. It mean, payroll run cheyyakudhadhu.. but can stay here until the result is out.

 

transfer to new employer? Then work until application is pending.

dont confuse between those two scenarios
