I have to say that its a good thing that Madras didn't go to Telugus.

Come on man, It wouldn't. Outsiders will always be outsiders and they can't claim something that doesn't belong to them...At least it doesn't happen in India neither it has happened till now.

Everyone can claim that its theirs...cos, claiming comes free..

I said that for an entirely different reason. The 'outsider' tag can easily be overcome with some effort towards parity and fairness for all groups. After we all speak the same language. Even if you say TG speaks a different one, lets assume that I'm talking only about Andhra here.

I didn't realise how deep the sentiment, about who owns Andhra's legacy, was. Andhra's diversity is its greatest strength, and also its weakness. I think another split is due.

forget Madras man. I was just surprised by how Amaravati became #ourcity. it reeks of regionalism. and when it comes from the richest part of the state, that is unwilling to share its bounty with the rest, there's not much hope, really.

Yeah, I can see that split...May be 15-20 years. Rayalaseema will be carved and merged with Nellore and Prakasham to form greater Rayalaseema...! and Andhra will be resticted to remaining coastal districts..

Unfortunately, Amaravati will not be #ourCity, a city which promises future for everyone will have no entry boards for the same people who think of dreams and land in amaravati for better life...only the rick and powerful have red carpet welcome in amaravati
