This is called butterfly affect , eppudu oka hollywood movie , how an airline company went bankrupt by a chinese magic man 

The story is some kid peed in the mall , where a pilot was shopping who slipped and fell down and subsequently couldn't fly from louisville , later last min lo chicago airport lo pilot ne summon chesaru , our chinese guy who is not way involved in this lead to drop in united business

because no system is self contained, and will keep changing based on the strength of conviction of its members to push through that change. Every company/person should atleast strive to have that kind of conviction behind their actions, and not hide behind systems.

There's no reason to feel s0rry for United in this. Ofcourse police, govt bodies are all crap, but that doesn't excuse United.
