Hyderabad of course! Nothing even comes close to Hyderabadi biryani...I am from Delhi, lived in Hyderabad, Bangalore and various other places and nothing beats Hyderabadi biryani.
For people who have named other cities, ignorance is not always a bliss!

haha there are many brits who think chicken tikka masala is theirs... yeah but like I said hyd biryani is the most overrated food item I know of... adi mana blood lo undi anukunta edhaina nachithe to blow it out of proportion.... in reality its not even close

They are right. Chicken Tikka Masala is actually born in Britain and of course influenced heavily by Indian spices and cooking, they all acknowledge that. British India lo annellu unnaru kadaa they have a tolerance to our spices and seem to relish them, Americans ki ivanni new so they aren't as used to all these spices as much as the Brits are.

Hyderabadi Biriyani overrated ani cheppalemu, it's got it's own appeal ani cheppochhu. That doesn't mean it's internationally the most popular or anything, fact is it doesn't have to be. Pizza is way more easier to make and takes way lesser time, also easy to pack and transport compared to Biriyani. It's wrong to compare the two, neeku Biriyani overrated anipinchachu but then there are people that don't mind cooking it spending 2-3 hours compared to 20 minutes for a pizza.

Hyderabadi Biriyani overrate ani cheppalemu, it's got it's own appeal ani cheppochhu. That doesn't mean it's internationally the most popular or anything, fact is it doesn't have to be. I dont think chicken tikka masala was born in britain... it was taken back during colonial days... agree with the rest

when I said overrated, I didnt mean to say its bad or that its not the best version. 100% hyd biryani is the best imo too but nenu anedhi manollu akkaditho aagakunda they think thats the only food and that its world famous.... believe me I dont even like pizza but just comparison ki adi use chesa... like a scale... pizza is what I would call world famous, not our biryani which is eaten by a handful of outsiders...
