u want in downtown or close to downtown or any other motel would suffice your requirement..

Check near Robinson Township ... there are motels for less price, mostly decent for a night stay

Eat Biryani in Mint

Go to Mt. Washington view point (must watch) and Duquesne incline

Go to Schenley Park, Fifth Avenue and Squirell hill one evening to see Upitt and CMU..

If you have a day, go to Falling waters (waterfall house), and ISCKON temple West Virginia (1 hr from Pittsburgh)

Dont' go to that stupid udipi cafe down the hill. Love da lo customer service. The owner himself feels that as if he is doing a favor by feeding ppl and the servers too. U can buy prasadam in temple itself enjoy that. That's more than enough. enjoy the trip.
