Getting rid of credit card

I want to get rid of credit card without effecting credit score. What are the possible ways

Your credit score will get effected if you cancel your card , if you have no option left choose the card which is the most recent , has low credit limit etc , if you cancel your oldest card the hit to your score will be more

One possible way to minimize the impact to your score is to move your credit limit to another card with the same company (Like if you are cancelling a Capital one card , you can ask them to add your limits to another existing card with them , they may or may not do it , but its worth a try)  , However please note that this may still be a hit because of card closure but atleast your overall credit limits will be same

the longer you held the credit card the bigger the affect.

You should always keep credit cards bro you never know don't spend , antha anipisthe spend only with debit card but never give up on credits the more the better , if you are worried just lock them up at home or give it your wife but don't close sudden ga emina emergency ki they will be useful
