can we extend drivers license on opt extension receipt ??

it is depends on state .. call DMV or go there and ask u r options ..

Take your I-20 to dmv with passport and ssn, they will grant you license ... I know about California, not sure about other state

yes. you can. Sometimes counter lo unna DMV employee ki rules telvaka povachu but explain that you are legally here & application is pending. Immigrants ki license oka database check chesi istaru. OPT/H1 approved ayyi unte, it just takes minutes to verify and they give license right away. But pending unte, it has to be done manually and you might have to visit again as it takes time for manual verification process with pending visa process.

Kondaru lazy buggers at DMV don't want to work. But if you request, then they will do or talk to their supervisor to find out about the process and then do.
