H1B visa needs to be totally revoked for a decade, in order for the American workplace to get a balance.

However, since every politician is in the corporate pockets and corporates need Indian IT coolies it won't be revoked.

Your logic is flawed for one reason. Right now the wages have been suppressed by Indian IT corps like WITCH companies. If the massive influx of cheap wage workers from India is stopped, the pay for IT jobs will go up here. So people can afford to spend more on buying products than what they can right now.

Also you are talking about manufacturing vs IT. The price of iphone is dependent on outsourcing manufacturing to cheaper destinations like China. This has got nothing to do with Indian IT workers or their dependence.

Also one more reality is that most Americans are moving away from IT due to the excessive amount of Indians and politics that we play at workplace, which isn't really appreciated by them.

I have a friend(American Jew) who has 16 years of experience in the field of IT as a top notch developer. He has created business models and implemented them since he was 20 years old. His dad was a dentist and this guy helped his dad by creating a medical software for him and implementing it. While he was doing it he was also attending university, however since he focused more on building the software he didn't bother completing his degree.

Now, he's struggling to find jobs. He says most of the interviews he ends up going to either blatantly discriminate him based on the fact that he doesn't have a university degree, or in case they don't care about that they discriminate him for a younger H1B worker who's willing to work for half the pay. He doesn't have any hatred towards H1B workers yet he feels the pain of being left out of his own nations' workforce in favor of people who are here as cheap wage workers.

So yes most Americans with practical experience don't need some degree to prove their worth. It's Indian mentality that thinks that you need degrees to show or evaluate your worth, that logic doesn't work in developed nations. It's best left in third world countries.

Not a single one of the ABCD cousins I have is interested in working in the field of IT. They are least interested in working with a bunch of FOBs as they perceive us, some of them do end up working for start ups which don't really hire H1Bs all that much but most of them are either into law or medical fields.

Yes the middle vendors have nothing to do as far as providing practical training or spending money on providing skills training to the IT workers, so they don't deserve to get a cut.

But the reason this exists is because the project managers and recruiting managers themselves get kickbacks from these middle vendors. One way to eliminate this is to ensure that should any manager get caught accepting kickbacks from middle vendors, he should get a minimum 10 years of jail term. That will prevent the abuse, that's the only way to prevent the abuse in fact.

Good point. It's just one way our people delude themselves into thinking we are all indispensable.

Don't fret over this. By far, they could scale up minimum wage to around 100k and impose some restrictions on H4 EAD. I am pretty sure nothing else would change. if you have not done any Higher education, at least try to complete it in a community college, if your wage is around 100k, push your employer, vendor and client to raise your pay. Do best what you could do on your part and leave the rest for guess.
