as expected.

Sasikala thrown in jail..

Dinakaran arrested and would be out of political scene

OPS hard bargaining and trying to tilt the balance of power..

Edapaddi Palaniswany had to bow down to the pressure from OPS faction and keep Sasikala's mannargudi mafia out of AIADMK for ever...

good days for Thambis

haha.. BJP's moves in TN are hilarious.

They are better of wooing castes that feel cheated by the dravidian parties, than trying to get on the AIADMK bandwagon. That thing died with Jayalalitha. OPS will be exposed soon. So will others. DMK is no better either.

Its nice that BJP is this stupid. good for TN.

DMK or AIADMK, they will have to join BJP in center...and they have to.

AIADMK to make sure they survive as a party...

DMK, if they have to survive through another generation, they have to align with BJP and can't stay in opposition for long and kick out A Raja and Kanimozhi..STalin is clever man in waiting unlike his stupid dad.

I don't understand what you mean by 'join the center'. They'll vote for or against in the parliament, based on their party's interests or the state's interests, depending on the politics of the day.

And what do you know about achievements of karunanidhi in the politics and governance? Stalin is not good enough to claim his legacy. He's just a technocratic politician (but without any tech understanding)

TN politics will throw up surprises in the next 10yrs. DMK/AIADMK are fast losing popular appeal among centrists in TN. Fringe groups are becoming more popular.

He'll be exposed as a BJP stooge in TN. That's political suicide there.

TN politics is about to take ugly turns, the kind which many haven't predicted.

TTV dinakaran could've kept the party and governance in control. But looks like he won't be available now.

The only thing stopping Tamils getting on to the streets, is a reasonably well oiled economy. If the monsoon fails another time this year, you can expect entirely different kind of people benefitting from it politically.

Join the center mean, either remain outside supporter, join the government or stay as neutral party and support government in parliament or in the worst case scenario, abstain on voting on any bills presented by NDA..

Who cares of what kalainger did few decades back, Politics is about future and not past. No one remembers indira gandhi or rajiv gandhi but rahul gandhi at the time of voting..

who cares annadurai or kamaraj did few decades back...people will hardly remember jaya by the next elections...

mundu chudu ra babu ante nenu venakaki torige chustha antav endi..

TN politics have now surrendered to BJP...nuvu sye anna anakuna, idi matram nijam. only option is DMK and they might have learnt lesseon by now not to allign with congress..they will be neutral and even by doing so, will help BJP..

splinter groups aina.,..manchi future vunna splinter groups ki BJP definetely support chestadi...

Still Stalin is just a technocratic politician. He'll probably be a good CM,, but he's not going to win elections. If you think he's good, you have low standards for politicians. We are used to better politicians. like Jayalalitha.

AIADMK splinter aithey nay BJP ki chance. vaallu kalisaarantey, AIADMK out, vaallatho kalisey BJP kooda OUT.

I think its a wrong political move of BJP to try and merge the two parties. It's going to help them in anyway.

TN parties give a fcuk about BJP or Congress. politics will always be TN centric. BJP/Congress will fall when Kaveri agitation takes center stage and they are in power in Karnataka. There's no way to come back from that.

You are actually missing a point here...BJP will not contest in the election and even if they did, just that they have to contest and they did...

They will not contest neither make any political affiliations, they will leave TN for their wisdom and eventually, what ever is the case, BJP will benefit from TN politics.

TN has 39 MP's and no matter which ever government is at center, your MP's will support the gvernment directly or indirectly not not oppose..

adannamata sangati. Politics ante elections okate kadu amma...chala vuntayi

They will support or oppose the govt at the center based on the politics of the moment. There's no such thing as 'joining the center'.

Technically, no one needs to join the center. That you think its important shows you understand politics, but not governance. just like the party you admire. BJP.

Is TamilNadu blocking something good that is proposed by the BJP govt at the center?

They would never if it benefits TN. They did try to block GST, but failed because nobody else was on their side.

all the 'politics' you seem to be worried about seem extraneous.

Its not like BJP is introducing important, radical legislations in the near future, that AIADMK would oppose, and that the current condition makes them vulnerable enough to support whatever BJP throws at them.
