cold storages wont be profitable because farmers don't make crash crops.. we mostly farm paddy. Paddy is stored in government storages and they get price. Paddy supply and demand is controlled by government.

Governmnet cannot tell farmers to farm particular farm or not to farm particular farm because just imagin if government prediction is wrong and farms fail,  Government will fall. So in the end what the best government can do is to eliminate middle vendor and create a well directed private purchasing system.

Govt can suggest wat are suitable crops , but how many will follow that.

Orlo okadu chilli yesthe paisal vachinayi antew, next year oru mottom ade estharu, and farmers kuda commercial crops ki prefrence isthunaru, commercial crops are big risk. vasthe paisal vastayi, pothe mottom pothayi.

Atleast family ki oka cattle, and some portion of land dedicated to veg, ayithe, valla lively hood ki ee badha vundadu , even if commercial crops are bombed.

TN farmers ki AP or TG farmers ki ade main diff,

if you got Agricultural Uni in bapatla. they will tell you which is better crop for the particular season, they also give you samples, nenu maa brother tho vellnapudu chusa

dont know about TG

raithu bazars helped vegetable famrers to some extent..

That's a drop in the ocean..and also increased stress to farmer to travel long distances to sell their produce.

Technically, producer became a seller...and this is not good for the farmer..he is good at producing food and he should stick to his job and someone else should take up the job of transporting and selling..
