Desalination plant runs on fossil fuels. 90% of ground water in UAE is saline much saltier than sea water

desalination remains the cheapest way to generate drinking water for these assholes.

they can lease a different area in the coast and put in a new plant, if the current one has become unsustainable.

towing icebergs is what 5yr old kids will tell them to do, when they first learn of icebergs, and water crisis.
