Hyderabad the City that sends the largest number of Engineers from the country to the US for higher studies, while the study has revealed that the city has the engineers with low programming capability.

Here are the results of the Employability assessment tested by a company which shows Hyderabad has the low Skilled Programmers.

“Hyderabad, India, sent the largest number of STEM students (20,800) to the United States and ranked fourth for the percentage of its students pursuing a STEM degree (80%) during the 2008-2012 period,” the report said. “Notably, 91% of students from Hyderabad are studying for a master’s degree, versus only 4% for a bachelor’s degree.”

In 2015, US granted the visa for 60,000 students from Hyderabad, while the skill rate is still low.

The Software Programmers are lacking in their skills, only 4.77% of candidates in Hyderabad are able to write a correct logic for the program, which is impacting the IT and data ecosystems in India.
