clerkships ki not eligibile since graduated from univ in India..only chances are externships or observeships...visa issues em levu

lot of universities are avoiding Observerships and Externships because these people will be pain in the butt and the compromises the teaching time for their students and residents. These days, it's a happening thing to announce that they are not allowing any observers (it's a way of show off, saying that they are concentrating only on teaching their students and residents). If already graduated, the only thing he/she can do is to contact the professors or private practice physicians if they allow to observe. Go to USMLEFORUM.COM website and look for externship discussions. You will find a lot of information.
