Are you the only one who has been invited ? If Yes, then most likely, he is trying to hire you. In this case, see if you can go, listen to what he has to say and don't tell anyone at work and also tell vendor guy after dinner to not tell anyone.

Lunch ki velalaniunte calm ga veluchu ga ...Parents deggara permission teeskunatu mee office lo andari permission teeskovala.

do you realise that the TS is a girl? quite possibly a beautiful girl too, given how many people in this db were after her (in the olden days). ofcourse she's dumb, to realise why a senior manager would ask her out to lunch alone, or just trying to play coy.
