employer harassing for joining client

how to deal with this situation? Gave notice and exited amicably. He was against going to client but we ignored and went thru. There's a clause in the file that we have to stick to him lifelong which we ignored. No non solicitation agreements between employer--vendor and vendor-client. He is calling and sending emails to go through legally.

clause in breif: we agree not to transfer billing to another firm and / or accept payments from another firm or the client or the primary vendor or the mid vendor for the project you are currently working or will be working in future.

ask him to proceed legally , asking you to stick for lifetime is an unreasonable covenant. any judge will throw the case out.

you are not a slave to stick lifelong............ur case will be dismissed

in case of breaking contract or particular clause wht is the compensation he has written.
