Not only Muslims alone, even people of different faiths also not encouraged to reason out on different doctrines. All religions are cults, which were setup to  keep believers from reasoning out. You can always find receptionists, reformists and rebellions in every faith. It's shame that people have not learnt  anything from the history to grow out of religions.

Man would have achieved more if had abandoned all these religions long long ago.

Its all about brainwashing. Their identity is knitted with their belief, their belief has become their way of life, so you can separate their ideological beliefs from their living. Not only religions any belief to that matter, if you get absorbed in it too much, it will start dictating  your life, eventually you will be ruled by it.( e.g. all religions, maxicim, hitler).

Muslims dont follow anything blindly. There is a reason for every thing they followed. 

1. Muslims pray believe in Allah (God)  who is nothing but a creator  and at the same the time Prophet Mohammed is the last messenger.

It is to believed that there are so many avatars or prophets in the old History. Every one try to educate and told do's and donot's , good and bad etc.I 

I would say Muslims are the modern people .

If you believe in Brahama,Siva and Ram .During this time people use to have some super natural powers given by god to the few people. If you believe in them  and still think they are the superior  ---------So you are believing in Hinduism

If you think Jesus Christ story is true and follow his teachings that is 2017 yrs before ------Then you are christian.

If you think Prophet Mohammed story is true and he is the last messenger. There are so many proofs that during this time he was told he will be the last messenger and after this there will be a doom day and no more Messengers .----------Then you are Muslims. There are soo many things people even other religions follow indirectly which are good for well being and believing in god. 

Its all your belief where do you wanna leave. Everything is right according to god.only thing is your belief.
