NYC better aa NC better anedi very personal question. NYC lo happening untundi, kaani mee bro akkada unna advantages ni use chesukuntada leda anedi Q.

Actual question ki vaste - Same salary in NYC and NC ante , the value for that 110K is boosted a lot.

Consider these pros and cons:

NYC Vs NC - Higher Commuter costs, rents are high, assuming NJ lo house - income tax is slightly less, NC lo state tax ekkuva etc

If it is a full time consider the below:

401k, vacation time (convert that to $ for a value estimate), insurance out of pocket costs, etc

As a contractor 110K vastunte that is almost the final comp. But FTE lo 110K vaste the full comp is more than that (base + bonus + 401 + vacation etc)

In my opinion NC is better life style than NYC. For me daily 90 minutes avg commute each way, NJ's lower quality of life kanna NC life ee better. Kaani wife and husband working ante NYC area lo finding more and more jobs without relocating is easier. That is the biggest binding factor for many people living in that area.

Good luck!
