Majority of Indian Americans speak languages which have roots in Sanskrit. I said majority not all, for example Tamil belongs to a different class of languages. 

So she's not completely off the bat. Now whether Ananya's mother tongue has roots in Sanskrit or Tamil that's something the anchor might not aware of. In any case, she was merely trying to take a dig at DT and not trying to insult any language here, so move on and learn to use the victim or the R card only when needed. Not for trivial shiit like this.

Also if it were indeed racist, the girl would have probably felt so and responded saying Sanskrit weren't the root language of her mother tongue or something on those lines. But she took a harmless comment with dignity, something some online trolls don't have the dignity to understand. A 6th grader is so much more sensible, it's quite funny to look at. 

The topic here for trolls finding an issue with this statement is: "Are you smarter than a 6th grader?" The answer here is a unanimous NO.

I don't have to read between the lines as there's nothing to be "read" between the lines. However since you can't seem to type a simple sentence in English without resorting to your Tenglish(Telugu mixed with English) I am sure you are not in any position to understand a harmless little comment, and are hell bent on using it to play the victim card.

But ikkada andaru mind readers la unnaru, some genius here says she realized it was a slip of her tongue and so she looked at the other anchor after saying it. Seems like there's some genius in body language reading, might consider working for the CIA.
