Downtown tour theesko, its good. Groupon lo $20 ki untayi. Night tour if you have patience to see the places again.

Steps:
1. Buy a 24 hrs hop-on-hop-off tour online
2. Some tour bus companies have the Brooklyn tour once or twice a day (like at 10am and 4pm). In that case, take the Brooklyn tour first. It covers the Brooklyn bridge.
3. Otherwise, take the Downtown loop.
4. You will be passing by Empire State Building, Korea town, Little italy etc. If you get down at any of these places, you wont get the top deck seats in the next buses. So, go all the way to Battery Park and get down there.
5. From there, NY Bull, Wall st, Statue of Liberty cruise and Ground Zero are all within a short distance.
6. Go to Statue of Liberty first and after coming back, you can visit the other places.
7. Then take the hop-on-hop-off bus again and go all the way to Empire State Building.

Another option is to go with tour companies. They take care of transportation, but there is a time limit at each attraction, so you cannot spend more time if you are interested in some place. Eg. TakeTours.com. Select Origin as New York and Select duration as 1 day tours.

Apart from above places, there are
1. Intrepid Museum where they have an old submarine, a space shuttle, a big jet carrier and a few jets
2. Madame Tussauds
3. World Trade Center Observation Deck

You can save on these tickets by buying a city pass online.

Bro..i dont think visting popular monuments gives the real feel of any country...i dont like people making checklists of popular building..taking snaps and telling others that they had visited this country...when we visited europe..we followed the common way of tourism for most of the days..but one day we hired a car and went to a remote part of germany and did some camping sort of thing..we took a german driver and stayed in a locals home...we got the real feel of the country then

Brooklyn bridge manaki bagane anipinchachu kaani parents ki picha lite anukuntunna. 

Ground zero daggara bagane untundi. 

Bull/Stock exchange/battery park ok

Central park choosina leka poyina Upper west side teesukellu. Columbus circle area is nice. 

Nenu brooklyn lo undanu, NJ lo ne untanu ante - park the car in Liberty State park and start your ferry from there. 

Anta ayyaka, path teesukuni NJ vachi car teesukuni vellipovachu. 

Kaadu car kavali ante - battery park daggara parking munde pay cheyyi (parking panda, park whiz etc). Oka 4-6 hours ayyaka drive to midtown towards museum mile (parking is reasonable there) and cover times sq, upper west side and all. 

Personally I think NYC lo tourist spots tappa migata anni baaguntayi anipistundi. Nenu ikkada unta kabatti melliga choosta kaani 2-3 days ki vache laaga aithe I can understand. 

if budget permits look for a broadway show (Phatom of opera/aladdin/lion king). My parents liked Phantom of the opera very much.
