nee thokkalo graph is just a projection. But it is based on current reality. atleast for muslims.. but I have doubts on its projection of Hindu population. 

The reality is.. muslims have higher fertility rates, because some of the world's poorest regions are finding refuge in Islam. Its natural to expect a period of high population growth before they settle down.

The same is true for Hindus. Hindus in bihar, UP, MP, Raj have higher fertility rates than muslims in Kerala, TN, AP, TG etc.

If Hindu population doesn't grow on equal terms to muslims, that may be only because a lot of them are probably projected to leave their faith for Islam.
