this fraud is trying to be like swami dayananda saraswati. whether all the institutions he started will prosper or won't depend on the kind of rabid supporters he attracts. He seems to have attracted the educated crowd.

50yrs later, when my grand nephew asks me if he can go join Isha school, I can only laugh at how a bunch of morons legitimised a conman. just like dayananda saraswati was.. who started the Arya Samaj (another bastardisation of Hindu culture). And I studied in the school he started some 100yrs ago.

At best this guy is spirituality peddler.. just like those silly mass movie makers in India. He deserves all the derision.

The word secular itself doesn't have meaning in countries like India where quite a few religions are in existenace...unlike in western world, everyday life is pretty much associated with religion, then why do we need to be secular in the first place ? We have religious reservation, this itself is a biggest joke..and still claim to be secular...!!

the difference btwn westerners and indians are: majority of 'educated' westerners atleast make an attempt to be liberal.

Mulapadu, a small village inhabited by 3,000-odd people, is backing the government's move to give away the forest land to the yoga guru's foundation. The non-descript village, 8 km from the national highway, has a community centre and a primary school to boast of. "We never had black-topped roads until the construction works for the ACA stadium had started. We welcome the Isha Foundation and hopefully, it propels our village on the development track. In fact, we want the foundation to adopt Mulapadu under the smart village scheme," said Garikapati Satyanarayana, a septuagenarian.
