my 2 cents - I don't think it's just because of the demand for land but we should keep in mind that the rupee value came down. As some one already mentioned the population will come to control in about 2 to 3 generations. But at any point of time buying a land is always good as there won't be any replacement to it unless someone finds a way to reach other planets where a human life is possible.

ierojullo 20k petti konnav ante, already high appreciation deggarlo vunatu..so, 5 times not sure..

but, ivala if you buy something that is worth 5k, chances are good that in the next 20 years, it will grow to 25k...ante 5 times...may be 10 years or 15 years..or might take upto 20 years...

here is the logic...5k per yard petti konte, 20 years lo adi atleast 5 times avutundi...endukante value takkuvanadi kabati, inflation adjusted and interest rate ccalculated for, nomnal growth chusina 5 times minimum perugutadi in 20 years and it might worth 25k per yard..

ade, in the same case, if you buy something now at 20k, five times ante 100k....already perugutunna danimida pedithe, increased yeild nuvu tinevaraku, nuv chesina investments ki, vachina profits ki and time factor, include average inflation and interest costs and equate it with gold standard value, neeku pedaga origedi emi vundadu..infact nuvu loss lo ne vuntav...just that we do not see any other options to invest, we find it profitable..but in comparison, you will be in loss...

yes if its a big city and where the total india talent pouring into city then the chances are high and might go like skyrocket.

where the talent is there those cities will see the good investment returns. If you look at California an example , its drought place but still real easte do well becz of young talent who makes good money.

not a financial adviser but just follow your gut feeling..
