15 years from now, Amaravati's central district would be completely built and public spending, with administration completely being done from central business district, once can expect a lot of activity and allied activities happening here. And ancillary functions would be slowly start to move in and around the capital and add to commercial activities.

Still, the development will be pretty much restricted to public spending and private commercial entrepreneurs coming and setting up shop will still take another decade from 15 years from now. The road network between Vij and Guntur will vastly improve enabling faster and safer movement of the people and thus benefitting VJTM hugely than amaravati.

In a nutshell, Amaravati will be on the lines of Gandhinagar,Chandigarh,Bhopal where as Vij/Guntur will be Ahmedabad,Mohali and Indore respectively.

Population wise I don't see big growth because only govt. officials will stay if no commercial activity takes place like malls and multiplexes, for such things people will come from Amaravati to Vijayawada or Guntur

Education wise so far we see VIT, SRM, AMRITA, NID...

Hyd has huge IT industry and many young people who work there and many training institutions, so these people once done with work has many hang out places for them in Hyd like malls, multiplexes, pubs and the city looks happening with such things

It's hard to establish such huge IT industry in Amaravati so I think CBN wants more educational institutions so that there will be some happening in the area with students, rather than a boring and lousy area.

Economy wise, depends on how soon the Singapore start up area will materialize and how it attracts investments. For now I don't see any economy generating sources for Amaravati

Tourism/Beautification: I see Krishna river front developent on the lines of sabarmati river front will be completed, Kondapalli Fort/ISKON golden temple(under construction - Phase one to be opened by Jan 2018), Kondaveeti vaagu reservoir and expansion will give a nice look to the area and SRM univeristy is under construction on the banks of this vaagu and if the govt can finish the construction of permanent admin buildings as per foster and partners plan, that will be awesome but all this is according to the current political party in the admin, don't know the plans of other parties if they will continue the planned and ongoing projects by the prev admin or will have their own plans.

Roads: Seed axis roads, arterial roads going on at very fast pace, you can see them in google maps also(in satellite mode), Amaravati outer ring road - not sure
