Coach's style is immaterial. its not the job of the team to mould itself in the image of its coach.

Was indian team pathetic before Kumble took over? yeah they seem to have lost lots of foreign tours. but Kumble still hasn't had the chance to prove that his 'style' would be effective in turning it around no? so we can't say that Kumble's style has been effective and the rest of the team has to adjust to it.

Shastri is such a blowhard. I'll never suggest such a cocksucker as a team coach. But I think the Kumble part is overblown. Some coaches work out, others don't. Team India will survive this.

Someone that can cut ice with all the players and not rub the senior players egos the wrong way.

yes some work out and others do not...but the exact reason why he is blamed need to be known.....if its because of his rules and policies ,then sure kohli is to blame as he clearly mentioned in the letter that bcci told him that the captain didnot like his style....
