with tech, the future is changing at an unimaginable pace. the current global power structures will not hold down the disaffected from these changes for long.

Bernie Sanders, Jeremy Corbyn, are all just bandaids, that don't address the problem.

huge state, huge population, are no longer necessary to take advantage of economies of scale. except as consumers.

even a tiny country like Singapore can build grand structures even though it has only a fraction of the population compared to others.

just because you are comfortable with a system, doesn't mean it stays that way forever. And the system is hardly 35yrs old. I think it can survive with mild disturbances for another 15-20yrs.

people like Sanders will keep it alive. but not for long.

15-20 years is a short period, make it may be 50.
