Infosys releases 11,000 employees due to automation

Automation impact: The company said that more than 11,000 jobs have been released due to automation. Revenue per full-tie employee (FTE) increased by 1.2 per cent as a result of automation, utilisation and productivity improvements, the company said. 

"It is a clear demonstration of how software is going to play a crucial role in our business model," it said.

Wait for a few years bhayya , lot of the work in not just IT but other industries will also be automated

Ex: I know some major banking companies are already trying to eliminate all of their customer facing representatives in bank branches and have self service kiosks

Future lo when you walk into a bank branch there may not be a person to talk to
