అమెరికా క్రికెట్‌ జట్టులో సింధుజరెడ్డి 

ఈనాడు, హైదరాబాద్‌: నల్గొండ జిల్లా వేములపల్లి మండలం ఆమన్‌గల్‌ గ్రామానికి చెందిన సింధుజరెడ్డి అమెరికా మహిళల క్రికెట్‌ జట్టుకు ఎంపికైంది. గతంలో హైదరాబాద్‌ జట్టు తరఫున సింధుజరెడ్డి బరిలో దిగింది. భారత అండర్‌-19 జట్టులో సభ్యురాలు కూడా. బీటెక్‌, ఎంబీఏ చదివిన సింధుజరెడ్డి.. అమెరికాలో స్థిరపడిన సిద్ధారెడ్డిని వివాహం చేసుకుంది. దీంతో ఆమె అక్కడే స్థిరపడింది. ఐసీసీ టోర్నీలో ఆడే అమెరికా మహిళల క్రికెట్‌ జట్టుకు సెలక్షన్స్‌ నిర్వహించగా.. సింధుజరెడ్డి ఎంపికైంది. స్కాట్లాండ్‌లో జరిగే మహిళల టీ-20 ప్రపంచ కప్‌ క్వాలిఫయింగ్‌ మ్యాచ్‌లో అమెరికా తరఫున వికెట్‌ కీపర్‌ కం బ్యాటర్‌గా ఆమె బరిలో దిగుతుంది. అమెరికా జట్టుకు సింధుజరెడ్డి ఎంపిక పట్ల ఆమె తల్లిదండ్రులు గడ్డం స్పురధర్‌రెడ్డి, లక్ష్మిరెడ్డి ఆనందం వ్యక్తంజేశారు.
