Not at all weird behavior , girl is clearly not interested , intentionally talked to you and gave you numerous hints(saying you are fugly , being rude , mentioned suicide etc) so that you will drop the alliance , not sure why you still want to proceed ahead , leave the poor girl in peace.

For what ever reason , looks like she does not want to proceed , let it be , move on , you will find one who likes you

first of all when u dont like girl pic how you shown that to your colleagues?  

when u r so negative abt it there is no point in making ur mother promise true now.. u just postpone the date for now saying work reason etc later u can cancel..

but remember one thing pics r not end of the world.. r u look like a model in pics? some people r not photogenic that doesnt mean they are not even considerable..
