Grit in psychology is a positive, non-cognitive trait based on an individual's passion for a particular long-term goal or end state, coupled with a powerful motivation to achieve their respective objective.

people are stuck at ape level in social evolution. capitalism helps them be that way as long as it survives.

soon some people will break out and create better society with actual 'value addition'.

the number of morons in modern society and their ubiquitousness is intolerable.

agree....but the big question is will that actual "value addition" be taxed under gst and will that be acceptable to those value addtioners?+-

I don't think there will be money in that evolved society. money has proved to be one of the biggest mistakes man made.

ideal society is the hindu society with castes, but without religion on top of it to create hierarchies. it can be achieved when upper castes are bounced off their perch in the social order among Hindus, and lower castes take control.

right now its a silly rat race, with nothing of worth being done by 99% of people. and a heavy concentration of losers and manipulators at the top.

if not money the booty could be in some other form.....

hindu philosophy doesn't propagate casteism. it came into being to bring order and organize a society and initially was purely on merit. a potter's son could choose to fight and become kshatriya and vice versa. it became bad when it started becoming like an inheritance passed from father to son
