GST was conceived by Vajpayee anta. morons don't even know history properly.

It was first mooted in 1992 by Raja Chellaiah, who was the chair of the committee for tax reforms instituted in the 1991 budget by the then Finance Minister Manmohan Singh.

Vajpayee couldn't implement GST, and settled for a bastardized version called VAT, with several taxes on top of that. the low IQ piss hat he is.

GST is a horrendous idea, nevertheless. As it'll be obvious in the future. Unless the central govt reduces the share it claims from GST, or allows state govts to tax income.

I'm still surprised how the state govts allowed GST to pass through. Except Jayalalitha nobody opposed it on principle.
