You sound like you are not in line or pain

I didn't get GC. I am in line like all of you. But I don't plan to wait for 10-15 years for the things I dreamed. I decided to take leap/risk/shot even if the chance of its success is just 1%.

All those things that you wanted to do can be done from/in India. Why do you need to stay in US to do those?

many people do that in india, one of my uncle is senior executive in icici bank and JPMC india. He has been to 120 countries on Indian passport. Except US visa most are just formalities like filing papers with some embassy and paying some fees

At the end of the day, you having a passport from a developed nation gets you better treatment than when you have one from a third world nation.

If you travel a lot you would know that, naa friend okadu was traveling via France to Eastern Europe when his connecting flight got canceled for some maintenance issue. He has US passport, they apologized to him gave him meal vouchers and gave him a stay at a 5 star hotel overnight to not put him through any inconvenience.

Ade terminal lo there were some Indian travelers who had Indian passports, they were given bare minimum $10 meal vouchers which you can't even buy a proper meal with and most of them including senior citizens and ladies had to sleep on the floors. None of them were given transit visas or anything of that sort since they don't do visa on arrival for Indian citizens. End of the day they all had to go through extreme inconvenience while all the developed nations passport holders just got delayed by one night and got more than that they wanted for that inconvenience.

Btw, ee experience ayinodu kooda telugode except he's got a US passport

Naa tennis partner okadu Nigerian born and brought up, now a US citizen. Vadu cheppadu oka sari UK ki visit ki ellinappudu he took his kids to the US consulate in London.

When he told them he was a US citizen and was just showing his kids how the embassies functioned overseas, they assigned one person specifically to show him and his kids around. They got them food, some snacks for the kids and of course coffee/tea etc. Apparently showed them around their various departments and explained to the kids what they did on a daily basis.

Try this with your local Indian embassy consulate in Washington DC and let me know how it goes.
