yes they are giving additional $20 if you upgrade to executive membership. They also told that if you didn't earn at least $60 cashback they will refund the remaining amount.

My friend this yesterday and here is his math

Total paid $120 (groupon $60  + $60 for upgradation)

Will get $40 worth cash cards ( $20 + $20)

He used lemony and got $7.20 cashback

It makes net amount $72.80

At the end of the year you will get at least $60 back from Costco. Means you are paying only $12.80 for 1 year membership

Additionally you are getting free items and coupons worth $35.63 value
