Its not that simple as u said..Teliyakpothee matladaka povtam manchindhi.. layman terms lo cheppali antee( I94 ammend cheyali malla)Babu naa I94 marindhi meeru h1 copy meedhi ichindhi ..as  i  entered in different classification which is f1 in this case..Its same like paplying h1 againn..Procees cheyali which is head ache..

USCIS and DHS are two seperate entities.. they work independently on daily basis..I94 is the one creates link between those 2..Nuvvu h1 apply chesinnappudu oka i94 vuntadii vadi degagra (latest one).. adhee i94 ki approve chestadu for 3 years(assuming u will be in us until h1 starts)..But madhyalo nuvvu emi  jargindhi ante nuvvu out of country velli f1 meedha I94 marchavu..Thats reason u need to update uscis again..H1 meedha vasthe u dont have to do it..

awesome man...really good information thanks  ... i just checked both i94 (present and future) both are same... if he travel out of country his i94 willbe changed so his h1 wont be active ...he needs to out of country and stamped...
