Double deckers absolute flop in india... Out of nearly 9-10 services introduced only 2 -3 are doing good..

1.Jaipur -Delhi DD

2.Bangalore - Chennai DD

3.Ahmedabad- Mumbai DD

Flop list:

1. Howrah - Dhanbad (First AC DD service) - Cancelled now.

2. Tirupati - Kacheguda DD - Cancelled now.

3. Kacheguda - Guntur DD  - Cancelled now.

With Kacheguda- Guntur/Tirupati rakes they are running Vizag-Tirupati DD tri-weekly biut that also not that fetching.

4.Indore - Bhopal/Habibgang - Cancelled now.

5.Lucknow - Delhi DD - Using Indore Bhopal DD rake doing no so good.

6.Mumbai - Magoan (Goa) DD - Using Indore Bhopal DD rake doing poor.

 

Can't think of Non AC double deckers since lower decks will have problem of dust... 

Uday DD for overnight travel ani announce chesaru but not yet hit tracks, DD are not comfortable....One Uday is sanctioned for BZA(Vijayawada)- VSKP(Vizag) but can't guarentee its fate.

Poor response ekke vaallu leka simple... DD are not comfortable to carry more luggage and space is also bit of concern.

US la.. aa goods train laki minimum 2 or 3 engines untayi.. oka 200 coaches/containers untayi... train vachindi ante  4to 5 mins potaaa untadi..

ekke vallu leka??? adendi bhayya tirupathi ki always full untadi... and Vizag to Chennai route la ee train choosina eppudu full capcity tone nadustadi anukunta...

WAP-4 / WAP-7 /WDP-4/WDP-4B can easily pull 24 coaches 26 also is managable but other dependent infra kuda parallel ga increase avvali...

26 coaches ante manam anukuntam just 24 nunchi just 2 kada ani...

Depending on train number of rakes also will be there konni long distance trains ki 4-5 rakes kuda untayi, so total 5 rakes ki 10 extra coaches plus add to that some 3-4 spare coaches arrange cheyyali...

Demand Untadi bhayya but DD is seating sleeper kaadu.... Ippudu Vizag nunchi chennai povalante minimum enta ledanna 13 hrs travel so anta dooram DD seating ante evaddu prefer cheyyaru , unna DD kuda anni 6-7 hrs run max.

Ippudu Vizag- Tirupati ki velle overnight DD 13 hrs travel, night Vizag around 9:15 ki next day morning 11 ki tirupati ki veltadi andulo end to end vellevallu chala takkuva untaru may be who don't have other available option.,  Vizag - Vijayawada velle vallu untaru entukante Vjayawada morning 4 ki veltundi so akkada pani unnavaallu adi ekki digipotaru, podunna vijayawada kontha mandi ekutaru Tirupati 11 ki digutaaru bit managaeble ante.Madya madya stations may be Ongole, Nellore poyevallu kuda use chestaru but end to end 15-20% untaru max ante...

Ala emi ledu bhayya road convenience road de, railways railways ne... Travelling has increased a lot now a days mundu la kaadu not easy to be in sync with supply to demand for such huge network & population.

Rlys kuda chala specials naduputunnaru when ever required and possible ippud next 4-5 days long weekend till 15 -16 aug all packed, even spls kuda extra coaches added by SCR.
