I posted many threads on importance of GRE, Univ, Internships last year. Every time I posted a thread, I got the most discouraging replies from DB members esp senior folks. Few examples

1. Not every one is talented enough to get admission to good US univ. @aathcare

2. Not everyone cares about internships (because gas station pays more).  @aathcare

3. Univ career center is important. Reply from DB folks is - I didn't have career center in our Univ but I am doing FT in one of those tech companies. @aathcare

4. FT is not everything. I like contracting because I like to decide my future so I don't care about any of the above. @aathcare
