My expenses for the Mango Plantation last year.

Acres 5

Mango Plants ( i bought 1 year plants) 220  X 80 (cost of each plant) = 17,600

(They also sell 3 years plant, but there is a little risk they might not survive as it grows three years in bags)

Transportation of plants from nursery = 3000

No. of coolies working 3 ( hard to find them these days)  each one Rs 350 , no of working days 7 = 7.350

Pesticides  & composts etc expenses = 4000

Other personal expenses Petrol, tea, breakfast etc = 1500

 Total expenses =  32,000.00

Types of mango plants depending on demand for my area

Banginapalli ( export quality ,so good demand for it, also resale value of the land will be good with banginapalli trees)

Pandurori

Kothapalli kobbari

Panchadara Kalisa

Pedha Rasalu

Chinna rasalu

Collector

Hyder saibu

Goa

Avakaya

Punasa

First and foremost you have to do soil test or ask other farmers and find out wether its good for mango plantation.
