No. It’s illegal obviously. One person who used to live in the apartment complex complained and got caught as there was camera in the complex and it showed package left outside the door and someone from the house coming out and picking it up.

maku rerverse lo ayyindi ,my wife ordered mangoes online , 50 dollars plus tax plus shipping 

sare ani order chesindi overnight shipping , anni mangoes kullipoyayi 

so we took a picture and forwarded it to website they said perishible items paduavthayi so no guaranty annadu 

we requested atleast partial refund vadu ivvanu annadu 

i called my credit card company they cancelled the transaction and returned my money 

the guy from online store called my wife and threatened her saying that he will sue as bank did not pay the money 

i picked up the phone i told him if he calls my phone i will call cops and sue his company for threatening us 

that guys is desi sounds north indian , when i said those he softened and started saying that he is just selling fruits and cant bear losses if we dont pay.

and later apolozed and sent a complimentary mangoes without any money with apology letter 

we kind of stopped buying stuff online especially fruits 

started buying from store

I think he was trying to trick you on purpose here by selling you rotten mangoes to begin with in the first place. Except that these kind of tricks may not work here like the way they might in places like India, once he knew that he came back to his senses
