How many weeks you (both mother and father) took time off to be with your new born baby?
Usually most employers will not have a paid time off policy for paternal or maternal leave in US.

Did you accept any mildly used items for your baby from your friends or family? If so, what type of items.

Are you letting the baby sleep separately in his or her own crib/bassinet? Or, on your bed?

From your personal experience, do you have any recommendations on the baby products or deals? such as, strollers, baby monitors, cradles, etc.

thank you..

I took 3 days off.. Wife is planning on taking 12 weeks off.. She has short term disability thru work (60% pay ostadi).. She is on H4-EAD so no issues even if she doesnt want to work after that.. P.S: she is not into IT.

If wife is working, vala office lo baby shower paln chestaru.. so diapers n wipes peddaga konalsi undadu atleast for the first 6 months.. Na wife office lo vala colleagues clothes and room related stuff icharu, but we chose to not use them for personal reasons..

Moms wont let the baby sleep alone.. So tondara padi crib or bassinet konaku.. Cradle konu but not a big one, so that you can move in between rooms/living room..

Strollers (travel system) kosam amazon, target, walmart chudu.. I suggest getting these before your wife enters her 7th month..  Baby monitor not needed now.. Once you plan on letting your kid sleep alone, then think about it!

Usually most employers will not have a paid time off policy for paternal or maternal leave in US.  me a week, wife a month

Did you accept any mildly used items for your baby from your friends or family? If so, what type of items.    NO

Are you letting the baby sleep separately in his or her own crib/bassinet? Or, on your bed?   NO, physical touch between parents and infants is much needed , more so in case of lactating mothers

From your personal experience, do you have any recommendations on the baby products or deals? such as, strollers, baby monitors, cradles, etc.

try Babybjorn carrier, its best.

at any sign of rash on body other than privates apply an oatmeal infused moisturizing cream (for babies), ikkada kids ki eczema ekkuva

dont buy costco diapers or Huggies, Pampers are the best

keep sanitizers in each room for yourself until the kids reaches 6 months age, not strictly needed anuko but if you are not keeping your home tidy coz of new kid u attract a lot of nasty things into your home.

thank you..

It all depends on what kind of friends you have and what kind of rapport you maintain with them!
