Kothavalasa gets major fillip...

With several new industries coming up, Kothavalasa of Vizianagaram district is all set to become a major industrial hub in the region. CBN’s Government is expediting the provision of basic infrastructures such as roads, water supply and power and land for the proposed industries by Patanjali Group, GMR Industries, and other major industrial houses. The Patanjali Group has been allocated 172.84 acres of land in Chinaraopalli village of Kothavalasa Mandal. Patanjali will buy products from tribal people since its nature of business involves promoting natural / organic products. GMR group is also developing an industrial zone in 600 acres of its own land. These industries will attract more than Rs. 5,000 crore worth investment in a couple of years. CBN’s Government is working on improving civic infrastructure in Kothavalasa-S.Kota route as many new areas transform into residential colonies due to the employment boost given by existing and upcoming industries.

విజయనగరం జిల్లాలోని కొత్తవలస భారీ పారిశ్రామిక హబ్ కానుంది. ఇక్కడ పరిశ్రమలను ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు పతంజలి, జిఎంఆర్ వంటి పలు సంస్థలు ఆసక్తి చూపిస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం జిల్లాలో మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధికి అధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోంది. కొత్తవలస మండలంలోని చినరావుపల్లి గ్రామంవద్ద 172.84 ఎకరాల స్థలాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం పతంజలి గ్రూప్ కు కేటాయించింది. ఇక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేయబోయే విభాగం ద్వారా గిరిజనుల నుండి సహజ ఉత్పత్తులను పతంజలి కొనుగోలు చేస్తుంది. ఇకపోతే జిఎంఆర్ గ్రూప్ 600 ఎకరాల తన స్వంత స్థలంలో పరిశ్రమలు పెట్టనుంది. రానున్న రెండేళ్ళలో ఈ ప్రాంతానికి రూ.5,000 కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు రావచ్చని అంచనా. చిన్న, మధ్యతరహా పరిశ్రమల కోసం 66 ఎకరాలలో పారిశ్రామిక జోన్ ఏర్పాటుకు ప్రభుత్వం యోచిస్తోంది. 
కొత్తవలస ప్రాంతానికి రోడ్డు, రైల్వే రవాణా సౌకర్యాలు బాగున్నాయి. అంతేకాకుండా విశాఖ పోర్టుకు కూడా దగ్గరగా ఉంటుంది. రెల్లి వద్ద ప్రతిపాదించిన గిరిజన విశ్వవిద్యాలయం వల్ల కొత్తవలస మండలం మరింత ఆర్థిక ప్రగతిని సాధించనుంది. ఇక్కడి కొచ్చే పరిశ్రమల వల్ల స్థానికంగా 10,000 మందికి ఉద్యోగాలు లభించే అవకాశం ఉంది.
