Meet the biggest boat in the world

This is Prelude a floating LNG plant that has just arrived at its home off the coast of North West Australia. It is the largest floating structure in the world.

Prelude is 488 Meters long and 74 Meters wide. It displaces as much water as six large aircraft carriers.(Nimitz class)

It will draw up 50 million liters of  sea water per hour to cool the gas to minus 162 degrees and liquefy it.

A boat is a small to mid-sized vessel, which has much lesser cargo carrying capability as compared to a ship or vessel. Ships are specifically made to carry cargo or passengers or boats
