Thanks for confirming how utterly clueless you are about the whole program, it figures.

MAVNI was drafted by a Lt Col in the Army who was one of the main members of the think tank that looked into the shortages faced by the Army when it comes to skilled personnel. I am sure you must belong to the breed of "thinkers" that thinks an Army is all about it's ground troops who have the boots on ground in the battlefield. Behind that, there's a huge network of experts that are required to even facilitate a ground invasion where the US Army found itself short staffed, as a lot of people with advanced degrees and the ability to carry out such tasks were in short supply.

On top of that, the US Army had a huge shortage of Medical personnel, the ones that take care of the injured on the ground and are responsible for ensuring the success or failure of an operation. This also includes the dentists btw who were in short supply as well. To counter all these shortages, the MAVNI program was formed. The US Army isn't a Citizenship dispensing machine, and isn't doling out freebies to people. It's a give and take, where citizenship is provided in lieu of services that are rendered by this valuable personnel.

But then I am sure a half baked expert would have no understanding of all this.

Might I suggest you not to give a fu*k brah.  You can't wake someone up who is pretending to sleep. Don't waste your time explaining fam.

Some clueless people like above think citizenship is being doled out for free by US Army without any benefit for them in return. They are thinking US Army is a charity organization @3$%

Little do they know that a lot of positions in the Army require us to have security clearance which can only be granted for citizens, which is the main reason behind naturalizing MAVNIs.

Bro I know wt is security clearance so .. don't even go there. MAVNI valla ki different stream vuntadi eb2/eb3 crap lekuda correct me if I'm wrong .

So a Harvard Law school graduate, professor at West Point Academy(home of most of the generals in the US Military and an institution even more selective than Harvard or MIT), a MacArthur "Genius grant" award winner, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army and an independent nominee for the governor of Alaska decides to make a program to dole out free "citizenships" for people to enlist in the US Army. Guess keyboard warriors that exist on random forums know way more about US military policy than her.

Thanks bruh, it's sometimes fun to put some trolls in their place though. It's easy too, since they are mostly full of s**t anyway.

No I am not born here. sorry it's sometimes tough to know who's trolling and who's asking genuinely. Anyway to answer your earlier question, EB2/EB3 are employment based Green Card categories.

MAVNI has nothing to do with a Green card, even if you are a Green Card holder you have to gain security clearance to work in most of the positions that a MAVNI enlistee chooses to work on. So it's the same process for naturalization whether you are a GC holder or whether you are a visa holder on EB2/EB3 employment based green card categories.

I hope I've been able to answer your question.

The problem is that once the DACAs were thrown into the MAVNI mix the program became unsustainable. a lot of the DACAs can't be vetted properly which means that they needed additional resources to conduct the background checks on those soldiers, and since they don't have enough manpower the backlog grew.

That's what killed the program, not just the fact that their recruiting targets were met. The originator of the program Lt Col Stock suggested then itself that it's a bad idea to include DACAs into the MAVNI mix and that the DACAs should have their own separate program if Obama wished for them to serve in the military. No one listened to her then, now both MAVNI program has been killed and DACA is rescinded.

Good job Obama, another one of your utter failures.

lol endi man nee gola..Obama paina padi edustunnav..r u republican tissue?

Oh spare me all the BS about what army basically is. Don't fool yourself that you are doing an extraordinary job and serving an extraordinary country. Answer this one question.

Would you join MAVNI if there is no path for naturalization?

Haha so now that your hollow claims have been exposed, it's BS. Yes it's BS to those that have no clue about how the process works and what's the reason behind the program being established itself.

AGAIN, WHAT PART OF THIS DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? WHAT'S THE ARMY'S PURPOSE BEHIND GRANTING OUT FREE CITIZENSHIPS UNLESS THEY HAVE A BENEFIT OF THEIR OWN.

OR DO YOU THINK ARMY IS A CHARITY CASE.
