Amaravati to Vijayawada in 5 minutes! 
India's First Hyperloop coming to Andhra Pradesh

India’s first Hyperloop, connecting Andhra Pradesh’s proposed Greenfield capital city Amaravati and Vijayawada will be a reality soon. Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) has agreed to build ultra-high-speed transportation system based on Hyperloop concept. The firm has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB), marking it first such agreement in India for the new transportation system.

Highlights:
• Built on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, the project will be funded by private investors 
• A trip of more than hour between Amaravati and Vijayawada will be a 5-minute ride
• The project will involve little over $200 million of investment and take a year to complete once all the approvals and Right of Way are in place
• HTT will conduct a six-month feasibility study commencing in October during first phase

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాజధాని అమరావతి నుంచి విజయవాడ వరకు హైపర్‌లూప్‌ రవాణా వ్యవస్థ ఏర్పాటుకి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధి బోర్డు (ఈడీబీ)తో హైపర్‌లూప్‌ ట్రాన్స్‌పోర్టేషన్‌ టెక్నాలజీస్‌ (హెచ్‌టీటీ) బుధవారం అవగాహన ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకుంది. భారతదేశంలో హైపర్‌లూప్‌ రవాణా వ్యవస్థ ఏర్పాటుకి కుదిరిన తొలి ఒప్పందం ఇది. ఈ విధానం వల్ల అమరావతి నుంచి విజయవాడకు ఐదు నిమిషాల్లోనే చేరుకోవచ్చు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుని ప్రభుత్వ ప్రైవేటు భాగస్వామ్యంలో చేపడతారు. అవసరమైన నిధుల్ని ప్రాథమికంగా ప్రైవేటు పెట్టుబడుదారుల నుంచే సమీకరిస్తారు. 

మొదటి దశలో భాగంగా అక్టోబరు నుంచి ఆరు నెలలపాటు ప్రాజెక్టు సాధ్యాసాధ్యాలపై హెచ్‌టీటీ అధ్యయనం చేసి అనువైన మార్గాన్ని గుర్తిస్తుంది. రెండో దశలో నిర్మాణం చేపడుతుంది. దీని వల్ల 2,500 మందికి ఉపాధి లభిస్తుందని అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వంతో ఈ ఎంఓయూ చేసుకోవడం చాలా ఆనందంగా ఉందని హెచ్‌టీటీ ఛైర్మన్‌, సహ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు బిబాప్‌ గ్రెస్టా తెలిపారు.
