Assignment 1: Product searching in a shopping mall

 

Requirement and Description:

  • All data should be defined and read from a flat file.

  • Allow entering product name on command line to find the best deal.

  • Print the store name, product name, and the price as a result on the console.

  • Program should continue with a prompt for the next product name. Word END should end the program.

  • There should be provision for user to select either from a CSV file or from a XML file

  • Apache Commons cli library can be used for this requirement.

  • Develop as a project with an IDE such as Eclipse.

  • Including all source code along with executable.

  • Include design document and test documents.

  • Instruction to execute the program (executable JAR or run in Eclipse).



 

Assignment 2: Number sorting

 

Requirement Description:

  • User should get a prompt to enter comma separated numbers

  • Print the sorted numbers on console.

  • Program should continue with a prompt for the next set of numbers. Word END should end the program.

  • There should be provision for user to sort either in descending order or in ascending order.

  • Apache Commons cli library can be used for this requirement.

  • Including all source code along with executable.

  • Include design document and test documents.

  • Instruction to execute the program (executable JAR or run in Eclipse).

Those days are gone. Now all good Univs are using "turnitin" software to prevent plagiarism. It checks every student's answers as well as in the internet.
