thats the answer, simple yes or no anthe and you answered yes

Btw to those that tried to ask me why I hadn't joined the Indian military, I actually did try to back in 2000 when I was 17 years old via NDA.

Appatlo final rounds ki kooda vella I cleared both the written test and the physicals, lost in the psychological round for some reason. Again, I was 17 at that time and it was exactly one year after Kargil War happened.

So ekkuva thakkuva pele mundu alochincha ra erri lanjesh @siru

But then again what you asked about is highly impossible to happen in real life because the Army has to breach a lot of security protocols to let that happen. Just saying.

ok then I must have understood the context wrong and i agree with you that in general a soldier deserves respect... neninka nee laaga ee program lo join ainavallaki respect ivvali because you are fighting for a country ani annav anukunna... so anduke adiga GC lekapothe join ayye vadiva ani...

I could care less whether some idiot on the internet respects or disrespects me on an anonymous forum. I routinely receive hate for even joining this program, at the same time receive appreciation from some people as well. @siru is just among one of the haters and hypocrites that spits and shitts on the very same nation that feeds him.

However, everyone joins the military for a reason. A lot of local Americans themselves join because some can't afford to pay their college tuition and don't come from wealthy backgrounds where they can afford to do so, the Army helps them out via paying their student loans through the GI Bill so these people end up getting a degree and a professional job once they are out of the Army. Some others join because the Army pays entirely for their family's medical expenses and their kids education, some also join because it helps them get naturalized and become citizens of this nation.

At the end of the day it's a give and take relationship. You put your life on the line, and you get something in return. As I stated earlier, go and take a survey at an Army base near you and ask them personally whether they would have joined if they had none of the benefits they receive right now. See what their answer is going to be, and report back to this thread.

A lot of my family has been in the service. One of my cousins still serves in the Indian Air Force, he's a fighter pilot.

Plus oka athanu retired Brigadier in the Indian Army. Even they never found any issue with me joining the US military, I want to settle down here for the rest of my life so I see no reason why I shouldn't serve this nation where I want to live for the rest of my life.  Yes I get to serve, and also get my citizenship. The way I see it it's a win-win situation. Whether it works out or not and whether I get naturalized or not is secondary, atleast I have tried.

And I don't go around trying to belittle people for trying something they always wanted to try like that asshole @siru

Yes bro at the end of the day with all the legal issues going on, I may never be able to get naturalized.

Ayina parledu I tried sincerely, it's better than sitting on my ass and trying to think I am better than someone who decided to serve just because I love licking my manager's bottom like how @siru does

Yes they do, they pay upto 65k in tuition fees.

Plus provide money for boarding and meals if you are in service while you attend the university/college.

Google GI Montgomery bill.

If you get your degree and decide to re-enlist, you can earn commission by going to OCS and be an Army officer as well.

No one gets any commission in any of the above, unless you are the recruiter who get a one time bonus. But you have to be in a specific MOS for that and they have their own training.

pandabette commission based pimp gallaki ivanni teliyadu like @siru, anduke indaka ochi commission commission ani pithukunnadu.LoL.1q
