Yeah, you don't need an in-person to get these things done..

First of all, death certificate will be issued by USA..and all that you need to do is to produce this certificate to the banks. For this thing, you would not need anyone to be physically present here.

Second option is to have a power of attorney...

Third option, Hire an attorney...This is the best option as they will take care everything usually for a cut...this is not an expensive one unlike other cases.
