Be careful guys, one wrong step and you will repent for the rest of your life. If this passes, they would next get the extradition treaty law passed. You might not be safe even with a US citizenship in that case. 

i doubt any western country will extradite its citizens to india on the basis of  a stupid 498 a case, Western Judges are not dumb/corrupt

Ademundadu man vallaki slap on the wrist esi odilestharu. Plus law always sides with them. This is an open call to men, don't marry unless you are totally okay with surrendering all your rights and lives. 

Ikkada marriage kakunna chaala options unnayi, plus marriage is for the society. With all these rules and laws, marriage itself is antiquated. A brief romance full of passion is better than a lifetime of matrimonial commitment full of drudgery anyway.

It probably won't work as you said. But Indian govt might make it an external affairs issue and come up with extradition treaties.

Inspite of all this, she asked him to buy a house and he made 30k towards it's downpayment. She divorced him shortly after that and put a case of 498a against him, he lost the deposit he put on the house which was around 30k. He had to take money out of his 401k to make that deposit. Finally she wanted an out of court settlement for 50 lakhs to withdraw the case against him. Now she's in a live in relationship with a local divorced White guy.
