I got mine renewed 2 weeks back. You need to fill the NRI passport form on the government website.

i have renewed my passport a month back. even if you fill everything in CKGS, you need to go to gov website and fill the form. you can call CKGS Support as many times as you like to get everything clarified. They have very good support service, prompt and clear. make sure you sign on each and every printout along with date. while sending you application if you have selected the option of mail service you need to take printouts of the barcode to return you package from CKGS. Take sometime and go through CKGS Website clearly. The list that you have to send to CKGS is different from final printout you need to take to send you application from CKGS to GOV and back to you from CKGS. Use SMS service to track you application status along with email service, its just 5.00$ more.

make sure your address in present passport matches exactly in the form of both CKGS and GOV form. after the state was divided i didnt have any new gov ids that state I belong to TG Now. I got aadhar when the state was united. So its better if you keep old address to avoid any hassles.

USA lo apply chesthe current usa address ivvali with current address proof of ur apartment. 2 years back ckgs kakunda BLS ane service unde appudu    Ippudu ckgs took over  

Aadhar card ni address proof ga theesukuntara india lo or is it valid for just for id?
