That's a different model then, since he has his base setup in India. I am talking about those that want to start their business venture in the US on H1B. Yes you can start a business, you can't actively run it though as you can only invest in it passively, plus you can't get paid by that company. Defeats the entire purpose of starting your own venture.

India lo business start cheyalante you need to have political and business connections, caste affiliations, mafia support etc. India is among the worst nations in the world to start a business btw. Ranks 130, even some sub saharan African nations rank above India.

i dont think it is required for some s/w business kind of thing

@kasi This is for you:

India ranks 130 in ease of doing business, moves one place: World Bank report

India is ranked 130 out of 190 countries in World Bank Group's annual report on the ease of doing business, Doing Business 2017: Equal Opportunity for All, released on Tuesday. Even the one rank improvement is because India had been downgraded in the 2016 edition to 131 from 130 earlier.

India ranks lowest among all BRICS nations

If it grows big enough it will need all that, trust me.

Plus India ranks lower than a lot of African nations when it comes to ease of doing business. Full list here:

Least business friendly among all the BRICS nations as well, so much for a nation that calls itself a "developing" one.

Even Sri Lanka is ranked 20 places above us, lol. I guess we can take some consolation in the fact that we are ranked higher than Pakistan.

No but that's the way you would think about it since you have a degenerate thinking. Unlike you I wasn't cribbing or crying about it, I was merely pointing out the difference it makes for someone to setup his own venture while on GC vs being on H1B.

But since you are a butthurt little biatch, you took it to heart due to your lack of comprehension. Try to take English Comprehension 101 again, and this time focus on the lesson.

my cousins started an online App just before demonetization happened ( they were working on it 1 year earlier)

they had to catch hold of a manager of a centralized bank( offered some % of sales as kick backs) through some connections. They did not expected that demonetization would happen, and Now PayTM bought their company for 10 Cr.

the above example is my personal experience. Which clearly says 2 things. You need to be there at the right place in the right time. And it’s not so easy to adopt / to implement a business model in India.

Lol. Sharing your thoughts/views or opinions is different then complaining.

Anyways there is nothing wrong for you to have different thoughts about what was said in the thread.

@kasi One more person trying to explain to your dumb little head what is the difference between complaining and sharing your thoughts/views.

Now please don't come and crib saying that we are both the same ID, since you can't accept the fact that your comprehension level is close to zero.

The ease of business index explains it all, of course we will have people like @kasi now come and cry here that all those rankings are mere hogwash and that India is the most business friendly nation in the world. @3$%

Lol I was about to write a similar reply. Saying that it is his perspective that makes him think like that.

Yup but since he lacks the ability to think beyond that little box which is his head, he assumes anyone making an observation is crying on this thread which he seems to be a seasoned master at doing.

I have a cousin, naakanna oka 3 years older. Came to US for Bachelor's back in 1998 and also got his MS after that. Spoke to him yesterday he was telling me, he got a family sponsor for his GC and had it before he came down to the US. He started working for a company that had 30 employees at that time. Today it has 5000 employees and has been rated as one of the top 20 fastest growing companies in the US for the last 2-3 years. When he joined he was the 6th employee and their first engineer, so ended up getting mentored by the CEOs directly. Last year he was promoted to the CTO and being one of the earliest employees, got a lot of stock portfolio apart from bonuses.

He is apparently quitting the company now to start his own business and with all the stocks and bonuses he made, he's a multi millionaire apparently. I think he did the smart thing, instead of joining an established company as a nobody he joined a company that was a nobody at that time. He's traveling the world to find some business contacts etc to setup his business.

What a difference having a GC does to a person, compared to how we keep slogging it out till eternity. Just wanted to share.
