The Continuing Downward Slide of Mahesh`s Career after a brief breather in Srimanthudu is Raising doubts over his Super Star-dom. The Actor has given 4 Disasters in his last 5 outings and 3 of these are Double Disasters (<50% Recovery). Even as Srimanthudu earned around 28 Crores Profit for its Distributors, the remaining 4 Disasters incurred a loss of over 175 Cr. 
 
 
Especially the last 2 films have been Terrible with Poor Opening All across. Even in his strong-holds like Nizam, he is struggling to match contemporaries in giving an opening. Such is the sad state of affairs that, SPYder has managed only 15 Cr+ Share opening in Telugu States where as other Big stars like Pawan & NTR are raking in Over 20+ from the last 2 years. Although the film has a Top Crazy South Director Like Murugadoss with Never Heard of Budget (Non-Baahubali), Mahesh has failed to attract the crowds on Day 1 itself. 
 
 
The Actor is now losing grip over the USA audiences too with both Brahmotsavam & SPYder crashing right after the Premieres. SPYder is now poised to become the Biggest Disaster in South Indian Cinema History in US Market.
 
 
In His 18 Years Career so far, Mahesh has given 12 Disasters out of 23 Releases. Interestingly Mahesh has Highest Disaster rate amongst his contemporaries who are no where near him in this regard. His contribution vis-à-vis Total Career’s Profits/Loss for Distributors is concerned is sadly highly negative for the Industry with Losses earned out rightly dominating the Profits of his Successful ones, although he has a knack of giving that odd Blockbuster.
